i have neither of these type of boats and am looking to buy. what are the pros and cons of each type and which do you prefer

Most of the ski guys are going to say D-drive, most of the board guy are going to say V-drive. One thing to note is some V-drives and D-drives run the same hull. Meaning it is possible to get the same wake. Off the top of my head D-drives are said to have easier maintenance, more responsive when docking, and better for multiple sports. V-drives have more storage and better resale.

All the above are comments from fellow wakeworld members and from my self experience. Feel free to correct me or add on to the pro's and con's of each.

Wakeboard -Party -Family -Space/Seating = V-drive

DD is just a ski boat, when you load them down you have fatsacks all over the ground, if you have the money go V-drive, much better investment
