This weekend there was people swerving all over the place pulling tubers. Twice we had to jump up and down waving our flag like crazy to let them know there was someone in the water. Twice boats came within twenty feet of a kid we had in the water trying to teach to wakeboard. Someone earlier said AZ has some of the worst boat drivers and after yesterday I am starting to agree.

sadly for the sake of safety we just get off the lake or move when this happens....there is no reasoning with some folks.....and we dont partake in boat battles trying to fight for "our" spot.

it sucks.....but id rather keep my riders safe and not end up chopped suey!

We had something similar 2 weekends ago....3 kids out in the water with their parents, and a bayliner pulling a boarder comes right past us, 30 ft away. Flag clearly displayed from the top of the tower. Fast forward 5 minutes....he does it again. I jump on the swim platform and wave him off then to my cell as I called the game and parks to talk to him. He stayed away from us this weekned

You have to love MN...we have almost 12,000 lakes and we have probably 50,000 tubers...I love it

I hate tubers.
the other day we were out on the lake pretty early, and there was this tuber in a cove chopping it up. Not a big deal, we'll just go to another spot. We go to another spot, and the freaking tuber follows us and proceeds to roll out the entire lake!
Did I mention this was at 9:00 A.M. on wednesday and it was nothing but glass?

because the tubers thought, "ohh look a wakeboard boat that makes bigger wakes... hey driver! throw me into those waves. i want to get launched!"
and the driver thought simultaneously, "I cant shake this guy on the tube... ohh look a wake boat! now i can slingshot him into that wake and knock the tuber off and i will win..."
tuber and driver in unison, "Yeeeehawww!!!"

gull lake is always crazy with tubers. My cabin is a few doors down from grand view and they are always towing tubers and following way to close behind. I've tried to complain to the manager and owner but neither seem to listen.

The rental jet skiers are way worse though. They almost took out our dock last summer.

Is it tubers or the way they drive you hate? I tube sometimes and take my kids tubing very slow (2 years old) and i stay way away from people. I have seen wakeboats and boarders do stupid things. Everyone has a right to be out there and have fun, just not everyone knows common courtesies (boarders, tubers And jet skiers).
