wet sounds 420 mic?

just a quik question about the mic for you guys. does the sound go through the tower speakers only or does it go through the the tower and inboat speakers. also, does it mute the stereo sound when you push the button to talk into the mic?

tower speakers only, yes mutes the stereo - but only to the tower (this on 2 boats now)

ok thanks todd, so it only mutes and transmits out of the tower, got it. now as for the volume, does the the mic volume dial override the tower speaker volume dial. im assuming yes.

it has an independent volume control knob for the mic. the first knob on the left is the volume control for the tower and in boat speakers, and the second to the left is the volume control for the mic. hope that help
