OK, I'm going to apologize ahead of time for this question, because I have the feeling that this might be pretty basic and I am a stereo idiot. I
I have an Malibu which I bought with a huge stereo set up, but its been a few years now and the speaker are weathered and need to be replaced. I currently have Rockford Fosgate speakers which are rated at 75 watts RMS and 150 watts max. I purchased Wetsounds XS65 speakers to replace these. They are 60 watts RMS and 120 watts max. There is also an array of Rockford Fosgate amplifiers powering these speakers.
So my question is do I have to worry about the difference in speaker watts, or do I just pull out the old and put in the new and play away? Thanks in advance for not making fun of me!
