I have a 2002 model o'brien option which I bought new in 2003. At the edges of the board on both sides the top deck is splitting away from the bottom deck and when the board gets wet the foam inside expands and pushes the board apart.

Would this sort of thing be covered underneath the lifetime limited warranty? This is only the second season using the board so I thought the board should be lasting longer than this.

I'd get in touch with O'brien or your local shop about it... Sounds like a defect, boards are NOT supposed to do that. It's NOT normal wear!

No way Aaron. Sounds like you've got a bad board. I've never even heard of that. Give O'Brien a call for sure.
