Does anybody reccomend a high strength cleaner for cleaning the bilge? You know something that you have to wear gloves w/and will burn your skin? I think I need something like that. Mine looks like crap after I spiilled oil all over the place while changing it. Instead of white it's now brown..

throw some dishwasher detergent in there before you go out next time...the water from the packing will get in there and the action of boating will make it look good as new...

Castrol Super Clean...

Just make sure you wear gloves or thin it down...It will dry your hands out nothing flat!

make sure not to get it on ENGINE belts or hoses or similar type materials. It will basically shorten the life of belts or hoses to 1/2.

Bilge hose should be fine!

yeh, some good degreasing dish soap in there will work. Maybe poor a little water in there with it and just let it slop around for a day. I always pour a little in there a couple times a yr.
