You will never feel a pop like the Transcend. It's a real "ollie" pop board. I love mine. More of a wake to wake feel cause it's pretty darn slow.
Joyride? Good luck on the warranty. They are no longer around.

'For me' the Transcend pops harder than anything I have ever ridden, including my Substance. It also lands a lot softer in my opinion. But I haven't ridden any Joyride boards.

I love my transcend great pop and soft landings, but everyone is different and for me I can't say enough good things about it. Find a local shop and demo it.

Ummm, why wouldnt the joyride be under warranty. Dont they still make snowboards?

The landings are still going to be looser than your Substance. The Trans does does ride slightly tighter than the Absolute though. You should know that the Transcend is super slow also. I mean real slow.

You should look at the double up lidburg 139. great pop and a very fast soft landing board. if your going big into the flats, the lidburg is the board for you.

yeah, there still in business, they have all the new 2005 models out, advertised in wakeboard mag, and stuff.

yeah wouldnt a 139 be too small for me? almost 6ft and about 180-190...

now by the transcend being "slow" that means.... i wont be able to go big into the flats? what is the pro's/cons of a slow board.

The transcend is slow on the water but once you get it on edge it accelerates quickly into the wake. This board definately lets you go big into the flat. Andrew Adkison (it's his pro model) does raley based moves well into the flats & it's very easy to take this thing out, you just gotta give it a little extra edge. The slow factor lets you get into a strong position at the wake & maximize your pop.

Check the "team" section & watch Andrew's video sections. You have to click through the pictures to get to the videos. The one where he talks about the "Transcend 190" is hilarious. His riding section is sick too.
