I have to agree that those Alphas look insane. Who would have thought five years ago that bindings would look like running shoes?

I believe that most of this stuff is now shipping to dealers, so look for it in your local shop. I know a lot of it was out at the Irvine Tour Stop.

Still waiting on Hyperlite, CWB, O'Brien, et al. You'll see them as soon as I do.

I was told by the sales reps at Ultimate watersports and Cope and McPhetres that they would have the new Alphas as of August 1st. Those were the Livermore and Santa Clara stores respectively.

So, how are this year's Alphas holding up - those of you that have been riding them regularly?
Old    wakechick            07-23-2004, 12:26 PM Reply
I am riding the Alphas and they have held up like a charm. I have not heard any negative feedback yet. I know a lot of people had trouble with the Transits breaking at first, but haven't heard anything about the Alphas.

David D - I have been riding the 2004 Alphas for about 15 sesssions so far and are holding up real well. Just as comfy now as I bought it, plus really like the snug fit and heel support. Hope the 05 will be just as good, if not better.

No, that's not a complete list of LF '05 stuff. The Transits are still on the menu.

Mark,
Have you tried the XL in the Transit or Sphynx, they run pretty large and wide compared to the Alphas,or it seems to most of my boarders.
