Anyone notice the 05 Hype add in WBM? The 05 Murray bindings look similar to the LF 04 bindings, I dunno tho I can't really tell from the pic, anyone know any details on the 05 lineup?

Is it just me, or does anyone else hate "The Claw" system?

Whats there to hate I don't understand. Its not like you need to change your set-up while you ride. And I think they're pretty convient compared to the way snowboard bindings adjust with those stupid plates.

I agree alex. I like the idea of the claw. All together one of the more practical ideas in wakeboard bindings.

Another vote for like the Claw system. Patrick, what do you "hate" about it.

Patrick, I understand your point. There is no such thing as a quick binding adjustment with the claw. I like the idea of adding versatility to the stance, but the claw has been more of a hinderance to me than anything. I guess it is because if you ever get your stance dialed, and you have to take a binding off for some reason, it is difficult to find that exact stance again.
If I didn't like my Parks bindings so much, I would switch to another brand just to get away from the claw.

Just mark the plate in the spots where you liked your stance with a paint marker.

Or count the indents on the base plate to the claw. Not exactly rocket science to find the same stance again...

Fredrik ~ That's what I do.

I started with Splits, then went to 3060's, then found the ultras... I just never liked the claw, seemed cheap, flimsy, had to add spacers half the time with Hyperlite boards and other boards. Pain to tighten, take off for adjustments. I much prefer the regular plates. Also use to have a motvie board and now have a premiere board, but only use my Origin board with ultras and tend to stay away from the Hyperheavy products.

Me too. I switched bindings/boards 3 times last weekend and all you need to remember is the number of "teeth" or indents showing on the inside mount and also on the outside and screw 'em down. I never change my stance in the middle of the day anyway unless I'm swapping boards.

i liked the claw because of the more adjustable stance. the claws i used were on HO's mantra binding and there were letters on one side and numbers on the other so all you had to remeber was the #'s and letters. hyperlite's don't have this? o well i don't change my stance that much anyway. is HO owned by hyperlite? hey i just ordered 04 parks bindings yay!
