I have an opportunity to ride behind an X-9 this weekend, and am really looking forward to it. I was just wondering what other peoples experience were with this boat? This is a new boat to my buddy so we are just going to play around with weight, any suggestions on where the boat likes weight?

Full up stock. Add 600 rear and 450 up front for best results.

HIJACK: I have a 209 (same as X-9 without rear ballast) I have been running 450 up front and 600 in the back at 70 and it is pretty sweet. Still haven't found the right formula for wakesurfing.....any suggestions?

I have been surfing mine...port side..slight port side curve in the boat direction..full rear ballast-half front(mine came with a factory 500 in the rear and 350-400 up front)..all people in back...if your local area allows it..in Canada they do-we have 2 people sitting on the back-port side with feet on swim grid-helps for rope handling and beer passing too! With a good driver and lot's of people rope can be thrown and if you know what you're doing you can surf til your tired!
although still waiting for the totally right set up...lemme know what you have found...
