Just moved....

Hi all. I just moved to Northern California (Palo Alto) and was wondering what the wakeboarding scene is out here right now. Are people still riding? and if so, where (in close vicinity to here)? I checked out the riders link but that's kind of overwhelming since so many people are from Cali. Dying for some time on the water but have no idea what the deal is out here, and my board is back in MA. Any suggestions?

Head east about 2 hours and you'll be in the mecca of wakeboarding for California, The Delta.

Post in the Find a 3rd section and I'm sure someone will offer you a pull.

Bill is right, you're only about an hour and a half from the delta. Myself and numerous others here on Wakeworld ride year round on the delta. Most of us are still trunking it, but we'll start pulling out the shorties soon.
I live in San Jose and drive to the delta just about every weekend so you're welcome to join us in the future if you would like.

Rob, thanks so much for the offer. I may take you up on that. I knew I had heard about the Delta just didn't really know the location. That's sweet that it's fairly close. Is that where boardstock takes place? Anyway, feel free to make fun---I'll let my bag of tricks do the talking (haha, as I fall). I may send you an email Rob---- year round, huh? craziness.

Looks like we are "neighbors" as we are both in Palo Alto. I'm living in "midtown" close to Oregon Expressway and Middlefield. I'll also be going year 'round and I'm sure I'll be needing some 3rds when it gets cold. Give me a call sometime and we can meet up.
