I finally got the tranny fixed so i am able to sack out my boat. So, I put a fat seat in the back (1500lbs), a tube sac and a full sac in the bow (1050lbs), and my wake is too steep. I keep plowing through it with my new board. Should I thorow more weight in the front, cause I have another tube and full sack, or more weight in the back. I know this should be a simple concept, but I am having a total brain fart about it.

Put some by the engine cover up the sides. The wieght should be the same throughout the boat. Take some out of the back. If your going to put that 2500 pounds in your boat go 3/your water weight=? For your current weight of 2500 pounds I would go 3/2400=800. Put 800 in the back 800 in the front and 400 on each side of the motor box.

You may be going too slow, or need a different board. I was having problems with blowing through the wake on a Prostar 190 with 1900 lbs. I was riding a Hyperlite Drifter 136 and a TFD 142. I switched to a 2 year old Premier 135 and it solved all my problems. I can go bigger than ever before now. I weigh 170-180, so I'm going to try the new Era 140 (old premier) to see if I can go a little bigger.

I've also found I can't ride any slower than 23.5mph without breaking through the wake.

My speed must be too slow then. But my abilities are not up to riding that fast. Should I only load up like 1200 lbs. and be able to go slower?

putting more weight in the front will make the wake more rampy, more weight in the back will make is more steep

I have a DD Launch and i put about 1500 in back and 800/900 up front and the wake is great..im not sure what makes the wake more steep i thought it was the other way around from what Matt said ..i do know we usually put 60/70 percent in back and 30/40 percent in front..

Well, I have to fight off the weekend warriors somehow this weekend, why not fine tune my wake?

I have a 95 Prostar 205 and use lead sacs so it doesn't take up much room. I put 300 up front, 200 on each side of the motor, and 400 in back, plus a ride with 4 people and the wake is great. maybe spread it out around the boat more evenly instead of all in the front and back, try the sides.

Sounds like you could benefit from removing some weight. You said it yourself:
"My speed must be too slow then. But my abilities are not up to riding that fast. Should I only load up like 1200 lbs. and be able to go slower?"
Experiement with less weight. Once you learn the basics then apply that knowledge to a larger wake. Otherwise you can start some bad habits and potentially hurt yourself. Check out the instructional videos at this site and wakeboarder.com. They can help develop your cut and increase line tension. Good luck
