Looking at 94 Prostar 205 and 97 Mariah

I am looking at 2 boats this week, upgrading from an 87 Sunsport and would like your thoughts. I do more skiing than wkbdg. The Prostar205 has Perfect Pass and a few other expensive options, avg use for $18K w/ trlr. The Mariah has 22hrs and is like new, but for $22K w/o trlr. Don't want to spent that much, but am willing to if it makes more sense. ALSO, found a 99 Prostar205 that looks very clean for $25K. HELP!! I guess it's a good problem to have though!

If you ski more than wakeboard I can't even believe you are considering an I/O. I would say go with the MC. It seems like a no brainer.

WTF is a mariah? I/O? DO NOT BUY AN I/O if you are going to ski or board at all! What a waste for 22k. Who cares if its like new? Resale is Horse $%&* for I/O s too. Do some more research and search the archives for what you can get for ~20k

I think Mariah is out of business anyway, so that is another strike against them.

I agree with Mark, unless it says Cobalt on the side, good luck with resale on an I/O.

I was thinking smaller runabouts Mark, but yeah, those too. When was the last time Supra built the Mariah, $22k seems really high then.

I'm not an idiot! A Mariah is a Supra model. Much like a Sunsport, just a little smaller. Thanks Brian!
