Loading The Line

Im planning a trip to TSR in about a month or so, and just wanted to know what to expect when I go? I have never been on a cable, so how does "Loading the line" work? Is it like edging? Does the rope stretch? All info would be great! How does the amount of air you get compared to a boat? Sorry for the stupid questions

Just a headsup... I found the cable to be more tiring physically on my hands and body than the boat by a good bit.

i guess i should clairify... mechanicaly how does the cable work? how does it pull u up?
