Looking at a 2003 Four winns 190, just wondering if any of you know what the wake is like behind that boat. Any input is appreciated.

I owned one and it was not bad at all if you trim up the engine after the rider is up. I really like the boat.

Scot,

Like Ty said you have to put the trim up. I also put 500 in the back, 250 on each side & when I can 500 in the ski locker.

Bad thing is, if the chop is bad the wake will lose it's form. I have broken 2 boards because the wake rolled over the front of my board.

How far do you usually trim up after the rider is up, also do you wait til after the boat planes then trim?

My parents have one of these. They are ok if you plane then turn the trim up a tad. Also, I added 1200lbs. This increased my wake to 2-3 times the size! Definately try to get some weight.

Scot, I can't wait until you get your new boat.

I remember boarding behind a four wins and the wake seemed really steep compared to an inboard. I am sure distributing weight properly could drastically change the shape of the wake.
