I have the 10-22 zoom wide lens and works very well with my 20D. When you are at 10mm, the photo gets distorted at the top corners. Kinda like a slight fish-eye effect. This lens is the "EF-S" version which means it will only work on the 20D and rebel series. So, if you plan to go Full Frame, like 5D, it will not fit. But overall, this lens is superb, sharp pictures, great wide coverage and light. Read the review of this lens at http://www.fredmiranda.com/reviews/showproduct.php?product=221&sort=7&cat=27&page=3

I use the Canon 10-22mm Here are some shots from yesterday out on Lake Medina. Rider is Ian Udell Note Sunset shots are shot on ISO 800, handheld... and the camera was still in the water housing, so I think it came out pretty good all things considered! LOL

yep. 1.6x crop bodies really cut a lot out of wide angles...Hell, even going from 1.6x to 1.3x was a huge difference.

Nope, All D Rebels, 10D, 20D, and 30D are 1.6 1D MkII, 1DMkIIN are 1.3 1Ds, 1Ds MkII and 5D are full frame
