I bought a board in my marina at the Mahopac marina in NY.. it was a Blindside Five o 137 i think or a 138. i dont remember..... but i got it out on the lake a week ago and I just couldnt get up.. i tryed left foot first.. i just couldnt get up.. i'd get to the point i was out the water and about to start standing up str8 but its VERY hard to stay on.. its all over the place.. like trying to balance on a basketball. i'd fall of after like 3 seconds. I feel like a total retard. io see everyone getting up so easy. im 170lbs and 6'3". I went out again today determined to get up.. I switched to my right foot to see if that helps.. I went out.. made my rope shorter, tilted the bindings so the front foot was kinda forward a little more like a noobie should do.. well this didnt help.. I still cant get up.. i dont know if its me or if its my dad driving the boat.. he has no idea what he's doing ... i told him to start slow till i start to get up then go a little faster till he hits 20 mph.. around there.. but i never get that far hahaahah.. can someone please help me .. i went online and read everything i could find on how to get up and watched like every youtube video on wakeboarding looking to see what they do.. I just dont get it .. this is like the only sport i cant do hahaha .. and that water is so bad i wanna start riding on it, not drinking it when i keep falling hahaha. I dont have a wake tower, just the tow ring on the back of the boat. the boat has enough power to pull thats 4 sure. .. too much if anything.. im going to post a video of me trying to get up later on tonight to see if you guys can spot what im doing wrong. or what the driver's doing wrong. kindest regards, Scott Graham (17)
