Blue book for boats?

I will be buying a boat soon. Looking for new or used Malibu vlx/lsv, mastercraft x-star/x-30, supra ssv.

I've been trying to find resources online to look up boat prices. Kelly blue book does not have a boat section, and the Nada guide seems to apply only to larger boats/yachts.

If you want to buy a car these days, you can go to edmunds.com and find out the invoice prices as well as costs for all possible upgrades.

I think this forum may be the best resource, but I dont know if people would be willing to post what they paid for a new or used boat.

I understand that pricing will vary from state to state, and options will increase the value.

Dealers list new boats on boattraderonline.com, but usually dont list the asking price.

invoice is not dealer cost either ;)

Nada guides - http://www.nada.com/ - has prices for all kinds of boats. I used it when setting a price for my '99 Maxum 18' Outboard with a 125HP engine in good condition (in case anyone is looking for one

). I haven't found anything better than Nada and comparing prices with similar boats for sale in the trader.

You can also get a good comparison from boat trader online or flipsell.com
