Fall pics... last 2010 ride!

Here's some pictures we did last w-e! Fall is beautiful but it mean the end of the season for me! I was not ready for this but it's our life here in Québec, Canada. This winter is gonna espacially long because my cousin just bought a brand new 2011 Epic 23V... over 7 months of waiting... ahhhhhhhhhhhh! I can't wait!

STOP! 2011 Epic means time to invest in a drysuit...

Here in UT we try and ride till the lakes freeze and ride with the lake thaws. Nothing extreme for the winter riding, just keep the mussels in riding form.

The thing is the boat will arrive in february and the lake is already frozen at this time! You can't imagine how this winter is gonna be long and tough! 8 months before knowing how this boat ride! We never tried one... it's scary but with everything we read about it, I'm pretty it's gonna be awesome!

Air, around 53 and water around 57. It was OK with the wetsuit and the glove but it's getting colder! Temperature drop under the freezing point during the night so all the boats that I can ride behind are stored... season is officially ended!

Quebec have a lot of amazing lakes with clean clear water but the only thing here is the riding season is sooooo short! end of may to october with wetsuit. Summers are really nice but short! Air temperature can reach over 100 degree and water over 80 degree in a big lake like the one I ride on (Lac Témiscouata). We try to enjoy each session! For sure, motivation is always at the top!
