220 SAN 330 PCM. I have no friggin idea what the deal is. It has happened about 4 times.
We were chilling in the middle of lake listening to tunes. After about 45 minutes or so we decided to wakeboard and I climbed on the boat and pushed the starter switch.--nothing but a click. Just one click, like a dead battery. We called someone to come pull us in. When they got there, I tried it again and it started like nothing was wrong.
My son jumped to their boat and slipped and hit his chest on the transom. He acted ok but after a while we went to check on him. Drove up, turned off the boat and sat there for five minutes or so. Same damn thing. Pulled the boat back to our dock and got just hung out. Later in the evening we tried it and it started right off. I shut if off while still at the doc and immediately tried it again--it started right away.
Could I be leaving the boat in a starting position when stopping it and messing with the starter? I don't have a clue what is wrong but hate to take it to the shop to see if they have an idea.
