Vision vs Substance

hi just need some help on chosing a new board.

I currently have a hyperlite premier 135 (02)

Im looking at either a substance or a vision, iv heard that the vision is similar to the 02 prem,

but just want to know the diff between the vision and substance? good and bad!

and how they both ride...

Any help would be great!

I've been on the vision since it came out in 2003 and love it. It's fast, has good pop, edges well and releases from the wake well for spins.

I've never ridden the Substance so I can't give you feedback on that, and the last time I rode a premier was a few years ago.

I would suggest that you look for the qualities you like in a board and go with that. Best of luck!

I ride the Substance 138(04) and find the board to be much faster on transition and release than the premier(04). Last years TFD (don't know the new name) rode more similar to the substance. As we always suggest, try and demo them to see if the board works with your style because your style will impact how a board rides for you.
