IPOD SCRATCHES

Hey everyone
i just got a new 60 gig video ipod for christmas(yay) however i somehow got a scratch on it ( i dont know how because it is always in the case that the ipod comes with) so I went to circuit city and found a lcd repair kit. i used it and it repaired the scrach however it resulted in many many scratches and now distorts the screen.
we went to see the manager and he said he couldnt do anything about it.
so I just wanted to tell everyone
if you have scratches dont buy a thing called mp3 doctor lcd repair kit

arron if you can find it use something called "Brasso" not sure if its still around the stuff i have is an old botttle of dads... put a little but on a CLEAN rag and rub the screen looks like brand new... done it a few tiems already

thanks but is that with the new ipod video(if so which one did you use it on black or white)
also did you just whipe it on and leave it on or take it off quickly
il a little heasitant to wreak a 600 dollar ipod.

well yes 600 dollars but that was canadian and witha protection plan

I would contact apple, and let them know what happen.
They might hook you up with a new case, or give you a good price on one.

I tried talking to apple and all they said is that warranty doesnt cover the screenand they suggest buying a third party case for it.
they also said that a screen replacement would be around 300 bucks (canadian)

yall got jipped. i got my 30 gig ipod video for 300 dollars (US) i dont know if that is alot less than canadian, though?

$250 for a 30gb on ebay!
