Stop the Delta Peripheral Canal

This event is happening next 8/16 and 8/17. We have got to stop the Peripheral canal. Let everyone know. If this goes through, the Sac River will be dry and so will most of the Delta. Also, sign the petition at stopthecanal.org

Check out this alternative idea by a local engineer. It would save the delta while accomplishing the water separation that the peripheral canal is supposed to provide.
