Hi All, I am new to the boards but in need of some help.

I am looking at purchasing a new boat and have had it priced out by two different dealers but both are comming back with drastically different prices aprox. $10,000 difference.

I am looking to purchase a 2008 Mastercraft X2 with the following options: Tandem trailer, heater, shower, 4 tower lights with speakers, bimni, boat cover, ipod interface and the MCX motor.

Can a dealer or someone on here give me an estimation of what the price of this boat should be.

I still cannot figure out why there is such a difference in price before taxes.

Any help is appreciated

Jarred

HEHATEME, Can I send you a check for $42,000.00, and you can send me the difference? I am holding Millions of dollars for a Prince who can't claim his money yet due to some legal issues. His Barrister has been in contact with me to help him out.

I have a shipping agent waiting to pick up the boat. I will need it here in russian Africa.

Out the door, Phoenix aluminum dual axle trailer (better than the MC trailer IMHO), sws mcx, heater, bimini, shower, cover, filler cusion, and fly high additional ballast for lower mid 60s

So, are you saying both boats are exactly the same? All features are identical?

If it was me, I would simply ask the higher priced dealer why he is $10k higher then the other guy. I would be curious to know his answer if both boats are exactly equal.

Jerred,
I've priced an 08 X2 without the speakers (JL sub and amp option though - I will add wetsound X80's) and with a single axle for just under 69K. MCX, Teak, Bimini, Cover, heater, shower, heated seats, iPod, transom remote.

Thanks all for your insight, I am still unsure why one dealer is priced $10,000 higher the only difference is the location of the dealerships.

Is there any Mastercraft Dealers on here that might be able to put this into perspective. Also is there any that are looking to make a sale to a fellow board member, distance in not an issue.
