Helium vests

Is Anyone familiar with helium's sizing? I called up the company and they were useless, the guy told me to get a large after i told him I'm 5'7'' and weigh 140 with a 36'' chest and wear a size medium in t-shirts. I'm thinking about going with the paisley, anyone put one on or own one? is it as thin as it looks?

I would get the medium. I am a big Dude and 6'3" 210 and I I rock an XL but can easily get into a large.

i have an argyle one from a few years back and sport a M. I wear M shirts and am 5'8" about 150ish. Super comfy and flexible

Im 6' and about 180 and wear medium. I got a black SWAT last year. It fits nice and doesn't ride up. The padding is in the six pack looking parts while the areas around the arm openings are thinner. My buddy is your size and wears a small paisley. Its a shiny neoprene on the outside not flat like it looks on the website. I would have got the paisley instead if I had seen before I got mine.

I'm 6', 175lbs and the XL was way to big for me. I would suggest looking at the M.

I have an older Nevin SWAT, but I don't think the design has changed much. I'm 5'10" 160 and medium fits very well. So yeah - go with the medium for sure.

According to their sizing I should wear a large around the chest so that's what I bought. Well its too big so I should've got a medium. Go with the smaller they break in a little too.

i'm 5'10", 150-155#, M shirts, 40 regular coat and wear a medium Flak (08), and can get in a S Gypsy Swat, FWIW
