Not really. But no one really rides this board competitively. I know of a few pros who ride it alot and I see it being ridden in magazines occassionally. I just wondered if most riders werent completely satisfied with the fish...whether that might be because of its speed, response, I dont even know.... is it more of a recreational board.

I purchased one recently and am looking forward to riding it. Just curios. Any thoughts?

i didnt care for the board. it felt like my landings had to be spot on or i fell. there werent enough positives(pop, soft landings, speed etc) for me to keep riding the board so i sold it

I love my Fish. Very loose and skatey feel - very forgiving. the shorter length makes spins easier. Continuous rocker gives consistant pop. Being so loose really forced me to concentrate on my edging - I have progressed a ton since I picked up my Fish. SOme of that is due to my getting more ride time lately, but a lot of the credit goes to the board too. It is not the fastest board, and it doesn't have the most pop. But it IS a blast to ride. Demo one and see if you like it. I found mine on closeout last year for 50% off so I just bought it figuring I could get my money back out of it if I didn't care for it. But IMHO the board is a keeper!

I've been riding a fish lately--133. I am thinking about trying the 137.

Any board will do whatever you make it. It is all about the operator.

How does the fish pop when you don't take a progressive cut? Lots of people say it pops great when you load the line but I have not heard anything about low tension tricks like spins. Any opinions?
