IVE SEEN IT THE ABSOLUTE HAS MORE ROCKER AND LOOKS REAL GOOD THERES THE TRANCEND BUT THATS ALREADY OUT THE BOOTS LOOK AND FIT REALLY WELL THE OVERLAYS ARE SOFTER BUT STILL SUPPORTIVE

I'd also like to know when CWB will update their website to show the '05 gear. I've seen unofficial "show" pics of the boards but sure would like to see better pics and descriptions of the gear. Who has the scoop?

CWB has completed there 05 catalog and their website will be updated any day. They will be unveiling their new line this weekend at surf expo here in Orlando.

The Carbon Fiber look on the Absolute Platinum is really sharp looking and the new Zeus bindings look pretty sick as well. Tony loves his 05 he says it rides like the 04 but has a little more pop and lands alot softer.

The catalog is out and about. Like Ben said, the carbon fiber looks sick. The board is similar to last year with some noticeable changes. The molded fins are longer & deeper, the rail channel is gone & the center spine is longer & deeper(like the Transcends). The boots footbed are softer & thicker and the zeus ankle strap is much softer & easier on the top of your foot. I've got the 2005 135 Absolute & Zeus', I'll try & get a digi so I can throw up some pictures. Picked it up Sunday & haven't been able to try it yet. On a side note, Ben, tell Tony he killed it on Sunday.

how come theres no core type guys that ride cwb? i dont really know who thier riders are but to me it just seems that cwb needs a different image and go away from the honorschool type of kid look. like what if they signed someone who was tatted up or some punk kid.

Got my 2005 absolute platty with the new Zeus this morning. Just got off the water from its virgin voyage, nothing I could say would do this set-up justice. It is so unbelievable awesome! I got the 141 BLUE with the hawk on it. The board is super fast with tons of pop. Also I was able to take some of my tricks bigger due to the softer landings. It's unreal. I used to ride the prod plat. Im so fired up to ride right now. Throw down the money guys and gals it's so worth it!!!

Are the Zeus's the best bindings on CWB??? wha about the Boss's?? I ride hte Parks bindings and the Boss's would seem to hvae sorta the same hold.
What do you guys think?

The Zeus are insane Kristian, the studs are pretty crazy, as far as the boss's having the same hold as the parks I would have to say that the new zeus are a closer match due to the fact that there are "two points of anchor" if you will; one that holds you foot firmly against the foot beds as well as a second that gives your heel and ankle an unbelievable amount of support agianst the backs. The bindings really seem like they wil hold up against the abuse this year. P.S. Kristian when are you coming back to so cal let's ride A-sap

Hey Chris, hows things? Do you have the 05 Zeus' I'm pretty sure I'm gonna pick up a pair, I'm sick of my Parks falling apart.
Well I'm headed over to Florida in a week, and hoping there is no visa problems I should be there for a while, so maybe a SoCal trip sometime from there.

Kristian.... no I dont have the 05' Zeus' but there is a shop that has them and Im guna go try them on. I do have the 05'absolute platinum 135 but I havnt riden it yet. Just picked it up yesterday but the shop didnt have 05 bindings in so I just took the board so no one else would buy it. It looks realyl really sweet! Green Carbon Fiber with a big silver eagle with its wings goin up. IT looks awesome! I talked to Zane on the phone and he said I would probably like the Boss' the best so when they come in I think that will be what I get.

The FTA (Steve) do the boards no justice!! There nice pics but in person these boards are sick!! The carbon makes the board sorta flicker and itg looks realyl sick.... my digital camera is broken or I would snap a shot and put it in. Sorry bout that

Hey Ryan...the Zeus' on my board are actually the '04 Zeus'. The '05 look quite a bit different. I posted earlier with a link to the new '05, so take a look and you'll see just how different they are.
