new to wakesurfing

so my family just got an enzo 230. therefore i want to start surfing. what is a good board to start with? i think the hyperlite coex looks fun. i would eventually want a board that can do it all...carve, spin, airs, what do you guys reccomend?

great boat. Your going to open up to a whole series of recomendations. I recomend looking at videos of guys actually surfing. Boards will ride different and create a different style of riding.

You will progress very quickly when the wave is the same all day long so pick a board that will allow you to surf the way you want to. Hope that helps.

Get ready to get hooked man...especially rolling in an enzo. You may want to expect going through a few boards in your first year until you get settled on your own style, and the style/ability of your crew.

We started on a few general boards like the liquid force Venture (dont really recommend) and we are currently on the yellow loogey from inland surfer. Now we are looking for something else

Let these guys know the ability of most of your crew and yourself. How much do you weigh?...and all that good stuff. You are sure to get some good info from these guys. I am fairly new to all of this!

We have a coex and it works great for the smaller, lighter riders in our group. It works well for my wife who only wighs 115 lbs. I weigh about 175 and rode it once and hated it. Its super slow, the rounded rails make really forgivable but it feels like its pushing a lot of water. So unless you weigh less than 140 lbs I wouldn't rely on the coex being a long term board for you.

Great surf boat. Try these brands, you won't be dissapointed any of them. Inland Surfer, Walker,Stretch,New Wave Vehicles,Shred Stixx. all these are high end. If you want a good board for less try, Liquid Force Custom, or Ronix's new board. Or go ghetto LOL you could ride a piece of plywood behind an Enzo

cool thanks guys. anyways to be more specific i am around 165..looking to spend around 350$. a board that everyone can ride would be most practical but i still want something performance oriented that won't "hold me back". this will be our first inboard boat, therefore most of the crew will be new to surfing. anything helps guys. thanks.

anyone have info on the CWB Tsunami? just saw it as i was looking around...

the first time i surfed was on a tsunami. Its a really good board.
