Just wondering how many hours you got on your boat or the boat you ride... I got my boat in August of 2000 (its a 2001 though) and i've got 285 hours on it... And I believe its still in good shape!

I have a 2001 Wakesetter that I picked up July 27th, 2001 and it has roughly 470 hours on it. I can only imagine what the hour meter would look like now if I didn't have to work M-F!!

My buddy Troy had a 1994 Ski Nautique that has 1005 hours. Respectable since he runs 2300lbs in it!

2003 Super Air picked up Saturday now has a little over 5. The break in is killing me. Unfortunately work keeps me from putting insane hours on the boat, but it allows me to afford it.

I don't know about other boats, but if you have the key turned to the accessory power the hour clock runs.... Anyone else notice this?

DC re run the stereo so it is "hot" that way you don't wont put "hours" on the motor. Just don't forget to shut it off at night.

Ok guys, Aircraft with piston engines are required a rebuild at around 2000 hours. These are boat engines which are also high stress engines, but if most of the hours are at wake boarding speeds you are only running around 2300 rpm with or without weight. with proper oil changes and cooling maintence you should get at least 2000 hours on an engine (with in 10 - 20 years) the thing that kills engines is overheating(water pump failure) or lazy oil changes. What I would like to hear about is an engine failure under 2000 hours that was not related to heat or oil.
