Does anyone remember what the device is to prevent fuel spill over when filling up? I remember seeing it not too long back here and it went in the vent line i think? Anyway i searched and didn't come up with it. Thanks

The first link says it will prevent fuel from going out the VENT, not the fuel fill itself. and I read the other thread too. Two different problems: 1. Gas spills out the vent 2. Gas spills out of the fuel fill with the pump stuck into it.

The vent line is cool, but what about spilling gas all over the place? whats the paper towel trick?

Razzman, maybe the fuel whistle is what you're thinking of: https://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?i=37390&pdesc=Fuel_Whistle&cname=Fitti ngs-/-Accessories&aID=21G&merchID=1009&r=view

I would have to fill my VLX with gas VERY slowly, or it would spit back and shut off constantly. I put a Racor on a few years ago, and it totally fixed the problem. I'm not sure why, but it works. Seems to make the vent work better, not just keep the gas in.

I think the racor was what i was thinking of, helping in filling. Thanks all.
