I just wanted to tell everyone that I just got a call from Liquid Force telling me that I won the 08 138 LTD Watson board it is a one of a kind because Watson put his hands in paint and put his hand prints all over the board. They are shipping it out tomorrow I am so stoked about this. Has anyone on this forum ever won something big in there life like this before?

I hate you Dustin. So much. Really, I do! You'll have take damn good care of that thing. So what are you going to do with the Omega that you just bought man?

Oh well, I'll just get Watson to sign my regular Watson... You lucky SOB. First you get promoted to manager at the theater, and now you win this. This is just a fantastic start to the year for you isn't it?

I won a CWB board last year for my wife right here on Wakeworld. Dave is always giving away stuff! I know what you mean about the 'high' you get from winning something, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face for days.

yesterday i went to the cinema with my girlfriend and i won a free popcorn because the first one was really too salty !! Does it count ? i think yes at the price they sell these sh%t it count for sure haha !

No, it doesn't count. Us employees at movie theaters silently curse those who complain about stuff with secret jinxes. My favorite is the fat old people who order extra butter. Every time I hand them a bag like that, I want to say, "Enjoy your heart attack asshat."

brinks is your profile picture the pic you won the contest with because that pic is gangster :-)

Also Radikal I think a popcorn counts because I work at a cinema and we have to jack up the price on food and drinks to make any kind of money because my cinema only gets about 10% of the money off tickets sold.

I went to the Gravity games in Cleveland in '01, Dodge had a booth with a mechanical bull. Whoever stayed on the longest over the course of the day took it home. I was one of the first people to ride it and told the guy beforehand I was going to win the board. He just laughed as I might have weighed 120 soaking wet.
I get on and he starts out easy but doesn't waste too much time trying to throw me, I'm locked on for dear life, he nearly tosses me twice. First I get swung off the side in a spin but didn't let anything touch the ground and climbed back on. Next he bucks me forward and I bust my chin on the bull. At 1:55 I finally get tossed, legs completely raw from squeezing, chin is just pouring blood, needing 3 stitches.
I ask the guy if he thought my time would last, he shook his head and said he had never seen anything like it. He'd been running the bull for 3 years and never seen anyone beat :45 sec.
At the end of the day my time was still there and took home my first wakeboard, brand new Byerly board with bindings. It ended up not really liking the board but having just gotten into the sport and not being able to afford my own, it was worth it.

Sick win, ride crazy bro!

Yeah, turns out that the boat wasn't running right, so he wasn't able to ride it until we got back to my dock and pull the jetski out. He was wearing the rash guard to jump off the cliffs though. Well, to jump off them once. Plus, there is a reason for the pose with the board, since apparently Aaron Grace wanted a picture of him with it for their website or something like that. So I had to take a nifty picture for him in his rash guard...

Oh, and my profile picture is the official christening of the board in the water. Kind of a small board for a big guy, but it still rode great.

yes it is kind of small for a 240 pound douche, like Nick :-)

I won a dallas friday board/binding/vest from the CLWC banquet. I then got it signed at the push process premier. The only thing is I don't have much use for it.
