whats the difference when they talk about regular boards and the dna..any big difference, say compairing the to the 04 138 parks biolite top to dna parks top?

dna supposed to be lighter even though there's only a slight difference... and should be livelier, have better response because it's wood... I heard they were pretty fragile... I wouldn't ride one on obstacles... also heard that honeycomb cores are coming back... LF don't have any ultra cores this year... so I guess you could say that balsa core were not really that popular...

to aid in answering your ?, unless sponsored by a board company and you get free gear, I'm assuming that your like most people, you buy it, it needs to last a few years until you can afford to upgrade to something cool, new and different. DNA is more expensive, and although slightly lighter and more reactive as is previously mentioned...the core/wood is prone to cracking. Again, if not using on obstacles or coming down from Chad Sharpe type double up, shouldn't be a problem, but do you really want to replace a $500 board in a year or two because it's broke and worthless?
