Liquid Force liquid tunes MP3 player

Ok, need your advice on this gadget. I want to get this for my daughter but I wonder does it last a season of riding? Also it comes in 3 models. ( 256, 512, 1gb ) What would you suggest and would you buy it again.... Thanks

I dont have one, but have debated on buying one to share with my dad....he swims 3 miles a week

but alot of people on this board have just bought a waterproff case for their i-pod

does it actually work that well? ive seen a lot of riders using them but im not sure if i would want earphones in when im riding. we have tower speakers so i guess its not really a big deal for me...

I too have been thinking about getting one of these with the Shred Ready Helmet and the Can-Can ear phones.

I was thinking the same thing. But in the end i decided to go with an H2O casing for my ipod.

I had 2 liquid tunes and they both broke within 5-10 sessions.

Go with the otter box I have had one for the shuffle for almost a year and it works great

I've also had a couple liquid tunes and they all stopped working but this was year ago. I heard they made improvements and they have fixed the problem but I don't want to go through the hassle.

I have heard from many people that the ipod cases leak. But I have never tried it. Have any of you guys rode with yours yet?

Personally my ipod cost too much and is way too valuable to me to take that kind of risk.

I bought LF mp3 last winter.I used it one time, couldn't get enough volume out of it.I didn't use it again all season.I took it out this winter,charged it up.It won't even stay on.I'm out 120 for LF mp3 and 35 for can-can flaps.One year warranty has expired.BUMMER! That's was a pretty expensive run.
