Was thinking bout going next weekend. Worried about the water level.

While the water is down a lot, it is still a huge lake. Just don't expect any past knowledge of the lake to still be valid, and be careful. The launch ramps aren't much fun, though, with fewer lanes and very gradual slopes (at least at Hemenway and Boulder).

It's been really windy lately. And like Erick said they keep letting water out, lake is easily down 10-12 feet since April.

Powell and Mojave are at capacity, only thing we can figure out is they are dropping it fast to try and kill of the mussels we are having a problem with. You go by the rock walls and just see huge areas all dried out, hopefully it works.

Maybe this El Nino everyone is starting to talk about will help us out this winter. Could you imagine a white Christmas in Vegas?
