Anyone else catch this at boardstock? I've never seen this before on a wakeboard. He dropped to his back on a heel side cut, spun around like a barefoot trick, popped back up on his board and then stomped out a 7....Sick!

I think it's called a tumble turn.

I have seen a tumble turn listed on the INT trick lists, but nobody could explain what it was.

It actually looked pretty cool, like he caught an edge on accident but after he stomped the 7 (I thought it was an osmosis 3)you knew he did on purpose

It's a surface roll.
We used to do em' on a hydro slide.

I did one of these early in the summer.
I came hauling into the wake to pull a Tantrum. When i came down my legs gave out, I rolled to my back and simple spun around, dug the board into the water and popped up. This of course was completely UNPLANNED but everyone in the boat was awe-struck, well...me included.

I have yet to replicate it!

I was actually trying to do one last night. How do you get to your back? Do you need to speed the boat up? I have ended up on my back before by accident but can't do it on purpose without totally submerging.
