Hi,
Buying my first wakeboat on Friday, a 2000 205V. When I test drove, I noticed what appeared to be the motor for the electric rear hatch in the passenger side rear compartment. My question is, does this motor get in the way of fat sacs in that compartment? I don't have the factory ballast so I'm wondering what people have done, if anything, to be able to run big sacs in the rear compartment?

I've got a 99 205V, but I just have the gas shocks to keep the hatch open. If it's possible, I would get rid of the motor and install gas shocks. I've been on a super sport with the electric rear hatch and it was cool at first but it just became a PITA after a while. Plus if for some reason the motor dies or something goes wrong getting the hatch open could be difficult.

I've got a 2000 205V. I put a 450 lb sac on each side of the engine. On the side with the lift I just put the bag in front of the actuator. The storage is open and goes under the seats so there is plenty of room. With those in the back an a 600 lb in the bow walkway the wake is really good. You'll enjoy the boat.
