I was just wondering if anyone knows what the three performance supra boats cost. They are the launch, launch ss and launch ssv. Anyone know? Thanks.

I know the Launch starts about $43,000 and goes up from there. If you go to www.supraboats.com you can get a quote from there.

Pimped out SSV models routinely sell for less than $40,000 here in Tennessee. However, I've heard from MANY sources that we have a pretty sweet dealer/situation in Rusty Bittle.

I bought a new '02 Launch in Feb for alot less than $43,000.00. With pretty much every option you could ask for.

A dealer in the bay area was advertising mid 30's as a 'show special' for the SSV. I wasn't impressed with the way the tower was bolted on. They mounted the tower right on top of the body line and used some filler/puddy type stuff to fill in the gap.

John,

Heard you were lookin but did ya know that D-up boards can't take the massive SSV wake, maybe you should get them to throw in a new board.

John,

I don't know what Rusty's site says. I do know what our boat cost from him. I also know that there are three new (2003) pimped out SSVs in slips on my same dock from Rusty, all high 30s or low 40s. Keep in mind that we're CLOSE to the factory and, as I said, we've got a good thing going here. But I know I'm not the only one who's taken advantage of it. I recently heard a report that Rusty is selling just shy of %25 of Supra's total sales! Now that is a dealer who knows how to move boats. I understand that somebody even came down from Nebraska to buy one!

I would be interested in finding out more about Rusty. I will be purchasing my first boat next spring and I am 99% sure it will be the SSV. I am regularly down at Dale Hollow in the summer and Knoxville is but a skip and a jump from there. I have tried talking my wife into moving to Knoxville for two reasons: 1) Skier's Choice factory 2) So many awesome lakes within an hour drive.

We have a local Supra/Moomba dealer in Indianapolis, but he is a small time player and I don't think he will have much for selection. Does Skier's Choice have hangups about buying boats from dealers outside your area like some of the other manufacturers? Obviously it would be easier for me to take care of service here at home, but if they are going to give me a bunch of crap, it probably isn't worth it. Thanks for any additional information.
