Sounds like in 98 malibu used the same diamond hull for the wakesetter and sunsetter and they need alot of weight for a great wakeboard wake which is fine because we mainly wakesurf. With that being said should I wait and save more money for the wakesetter hull that is newer or will enough port side and mid ship ballast give me a nice wave to ride? I saw some pics in another thread of a great wave coming off a daimond hull but not sure what year boat it was. Is the newer diamond hull close to or the same as the 98 diamond hull. This is a very resonable price for a vdrive and would like to jump on it but could also wait for a tige 21 to come available local as I dont want to drive to far for purchase. Help and advise is appreciated.
