Size/Pitch best for towing

Hello-

Im loking for a new prop for my 94 Volvo Penta i/o SX drive. IT simply takes too long to pull someone up out of teh water and get to a plane. Whatever i have in there, is stock, and i know i have a max speed of 40 something (according to manual). Im willing to max out at about 38-40MPH if i could pull poeple out of the water a whoel lot faster...any ideas?

Boat, engine, current prop? Also is the current prop stainless or aluminum?

94 Wellcraft Excel 20' Volvo penta SX drive, no idea on the current prop-stock, came with boat-it is aluminum. I think i would like a composite prop

The pitch should be stamped into the prop.

It'll read something like "21" or "20"
