rock into it. Like when you leave the wake get kinna rockin into it. And thenjust throw that hand back fast and grab it why its close..If you wait then it gets behind you and then you dont really have a chance.

okay POOLZY, there are two ways to learn a hoochie glide, off the wake, and the d-up, if you learn them off the d-up however you most likely wont be able to do them off the wake, so ill tell you how to do them off the wake. the key is not thinking of the trick as a raley, it is a COMPLETELY different approach. For a hoochie, you want to cut out about 5 feet less then you would for a raley and when you cut in, use a progressive edge with your knees bent. this is key. unlike a raley where you are just gonna charge, u need to come in with a crowched knee aproach. after you hit the wake, keep your knees bent and immediately reach back for the grab. the first few times i was learning this, i was throwing it like a raley and couldnt get the grab. by coming in with your knees bent, this will not be a problem. the first few times i did a hoochie glide and grabbed it, i had to look back for the grab, to ensure sticking it, this could end up in a bad fall, but hey, you are going to fall. the landing should be easy just like a raley and once you stick it, you will never want to do a raley again!!!!

wont your knees absorb the jump, and you'll get less air?

i think he was saying after you launch off the wake standing tall to focus on the tower and let your booard go behind you bending your kneews. a good example, take alook at aruns knees when he throws ahoochie
