I have a friend that is getting a '06 Four Winns boat (don't know model yet) and is gona put a tower on it.

i'm not too familiar with the tower market, so i thought you all (more familiar peeps)could speed the research for me.

So what suggestions do you have for aftermarket towers???

cheap and good rarely go in the same sentence. Quality is remembered long after price is forgotten.

Here's a link to my tower I just installed this season. It was dirt cheap and is holding up just fine. Style is the biggest thing separating the expensive towers from the cheap ones right now but style is important if you have a decent boat.

Steeze are you implying that diywake.com swoop towers are not any good? Are you basing this on experience or just because they are cheap? This is a serious question, because I'm looking for a tower also. Keep in mind that Monster Towers used to be the same price, so your comment doesn't really hold true, because those towers are very solid from word-of-mouth.

Jeremy, I see that Monster Tower is having a sale right now, but I'm not sure if shipping is included. I know that diywake includes shipping and one free board rack, which is very nice.

Check the Big Air H20 tower as well. Those have a great reputation of being very solid and rattle free. 975 shipped.

DIYWAKE pro swoop with 2 pro boardracks. All painted black, I think it looks sweet, and doesn't rattle at all. It's a very very solid tower.

Loudliquid has a couple options. The Redline series or the T-1. Both good solid inexpensive towers. http://www.loudliquid.com

I vote DIYwake.com.

In fact the boat in the top picture is my dads old 18 foot four winns. We had perfect pass cruise and 1000# ballast and it was a decent little wake boat, before my brother and I got the PS205.

Anyway, that tower rocks. Cant beat it for the money.

I just bought and installed a Monster Tower MT2. Nice tower, good price but the best thing is the people at Monster Tower are top notch.

GREAT customer service, speedy delivery (Shipping wasn't free but cheap, like $30.00).

I just called them 2 days ago because a couple of small parts were scratched. No problem, I will have new ones today - free of charge including the shipping.

Installation questions - no problem, I bet they will talk to you all day long on the phone if you need them to.

UNBELIEVABLE service. Great Product. Highly recommended them!!

Monster tower really is very helpful to the wakeboard community. They even run the diytower.com site for do it yourselfers. Theyre quite a bit more expensive than the diywake tower, but really a great deal as well. Absolutely worth considering if it dosnt put you over budget.
