I'm hoping to move to a newer boat this fall and was wondering how many gal/hr different models use, as that might have some impact on my decision. Obviously it will depend on a lot of factors, speed, weight, activity, etc but just to get an overall feel.

My current set up is just a 1991 Ski Nautique with fat sacs and a tower, we do pretty good and average about 3 gal/hr.

I'm averaging about the same in a 91 Maristar with a carb. Maybe closer to 4 gal/hr, depends on whos driving.

1992 prostar 205 (carbed) with 4 people and 1600# sacs gets between 4.5 and 5 gals per engine hour.

I think it's going to be hard to beat the 3/hr your nautique is doing. Narrower beam boats typically do better and I don't see that number improving with newer models. A 210/sport/supersport may be close, but i think you're in a good spot in terms of consumption right now.
