I'm currently riding a 2004 Obrein Demented 136 and decided I'd pick up a leftover 08 as all the newer boards are probably better. I'm looking for something thats pretty quick, pops consistently and is good for taking to the flats/lands softer. I've been looking around and like the looks of the Lyman and the Tribute as well as the B-side, which looks interesting but doesn't seem as safe of a bet and as fitting of what I'm looking for.

Anyone have any suggestions on the Lyman vs the Witness and which might fit what I'm looking for better or any other 08 board.

Thanks,
Ray

I demoed the Lyman last summer and its fast, loose, and pops you up and out in the flats. It was a little too loose for me but sounds like what you are looking for..

i may try it again this season.

byerly monarch, transcend platinum, murray are three boards i have started riding and they all fit the definition of what you are looking for in a board. good luck and let us know what you end up getting. hurry, however, before the 08's are all gone.
