Clarion XMD3 Help

Hey,
A friend gave me his old Claron XMD3 head unit. On the back there are three RCA jacks, a red, black and grey pair. I think two of these are outputs and one is an input set. Is this correct? If so which is the input set, or does the XMD3 have an input set?

i think the red is the input

Charles is correct Red is Aux imput,

Ya Ryan I just put one of these in my boat and had the same ?s. Red is Aux, Grey is front and black is sub or rear. Works great,hooked an ipod up to it last week and sounded great.
