2002 Team Edition Rear Seat Configuration

A while back there was a discussion about two different 2002 Super Air Nautique Team Edition rear seat configurations: one where the whole rear seat swings-up as one piece and the other where just the three individual seat cushions are removable. Does anyone remember this? I just took delivery of my new 2002 SAN TE, I now finally know just which rear seat I have and I'm wondering about the pros and cons of the two different designs.
