The hotel is going bye bye and they are going to build condos on that property. Supposed to take place at the end of the summer.

there is a waiting list you need to get on for the hotel. my brother was 8th on the list a few weeks ago. last monday he called and they said he was 6th. so there are some cancellations going on.

The weather was great up there this last weekend. ANd the water really warmed up. A lot of boats out on the water (especially fisherman)but looks good for this up coming weekend. Not like the wind storm of last year. Thanks, Mike

Travis we were up there last weekend. Lots of boats and fishermen. But the water is now high enough to ride the back five mile an hour zone. So we got some good sets back there. We heading up thursday mid day and staying the week. Hopefully we will see you there.

J-Rod depends, in front of the resort the water is probably in the low sixties because the water is coming in from the dam. In the BC the water temp seemed closer to seventy. But my temp gauge is broken on the boat so I am just going by feel. In the middle of the lake it is still pretty chilly. I heard a guy screamin like a little girl from the old bone crusher boat last weekend when he go in the water.

The water temp is between 59 to 62 all over the lake. On Sat I swam from the Kiva to Lake house2 almost 1/2 mile In a spring suite, Yes it's quite refreshing. Im sure if you jumped in and got up and going trunks and a top would work fine. I put my foot in and tested the water and I was like this is ok I don't need a wet suite. I swam with out the suite for about 1 min and said No way. give me the shortie. On Monday the water moved up another 2-feet.

It was a little chilly, but i trunked it with a thin top and it was fine. We actually swam for a bit too on thursday last week, it was like 70 something and the water was 61, it felt really nice. But if the water is gong up then it might be a little colder, its 80 + up there all week so it might not be too bad, either way im riding friday and thats it, the rest of the weekend i bet wont be worth it.

I wear a dry suit as long as I can, I would rather be comfortable and be able to ride longer. I rode the rest of the weekend in a shorty and was fine.
Only one more day of work and we are vacation!!!

^^^ I agree, being comfortable is key. If I'm cold I get tense and then everything feels like work and not really that fun.
