I'm have one 8" Rockford Fosgate Punch Stage 2 sub in a ported box and Fusion T tower speakers. I'm not sure what amp to buy. The 8 is rated at 50-200 watts RMS. The Tower speakers are rated at 200 watts RMS per side. Should I get a 4ch or 2ch and how much power do I need? I want to make sure I get the right amp the 1st time. I would like to keep the price below 250 +/- if I can. Thanks

you can make it work w/ one amp...I like to put the sub on its own amp. Look into mono sub amps (class D) I say push the sub hard w/ close to the 200 RMS , and push the fusions w/ 175-200 RMS. THere are guys on here who run the fusions and can tell you how much power they need to sound good. There are alot of different wiring options you can use if your using just one amp. If just one amp you'll definatley need a 4ch amp. That way you'll have full crossover control on each pair of channels. I've heard good things about Zapco equipment

Thanks for the reply. I ordered the Eclipse amp. I will put a crossover on it untill I can get another amp. If it dosen't sound good I will buy another amp and 8" woofer.

how are you going to run one sub and a pair of tower spekers on a 2-ch amp? Can that amp handle a 2ohm load out of one channel and a 4ohm load out of the other simetaneously (sorry for hte spelling) . what load does each fusion "module" show the amp? 4ohm? Is the sub dual voice coil?
