A power turn is turning a boat quickly(a 180 in most cases) sending large rollers across the lake. ruining the water for everyone.

Its basically turning sharply with speed after your rider drops. This throws huge rollers everywhere and really pisses people off

Joe,
On the whole you should avoid a power turn when your rider drops. However, if there is any question if the rider is injured, do the power turn and get back to the rider fast. Also, if there is another boat or pwc heading toward your fallen rider, you need to do whatever is necessary to protect your rider (meaning a power turn and back to the rider fast).
