42 degree water and 54 degree air, that does not break the 100 rule. You guys are MENTAL hahaha. I guess you stay dry except for whatever water gets in your boots, or do you put something on your feet before you put your boots on?

I was wondering if the Mastercraft hull warranty covers ice damage? Thanks for being nuts with me J and Wakefirst!

As an AZ guy I would have frozen in about 2.5 seconds! We must go by the 150 degree rule here.

It really wasn't bad at all. The gloves help your hands, your head gets a little cold when your wreck (or a lot if you are me) but the worst part is your feet. We are barefoot inside the closed toe, and it gets chilly. But not so bad that you don't feel them anymore. I don't think any of us gave up because of being too cold.

oh yeah, hearing the chunks of ice hit the bottom of your board is pretty bizarre. ;-)

The ice chunks hitting your board does sound Bizarre. I'm still waiting for warmer water and weather here in IL, pupped out this year.

Way to throw down in the cold water! Were hoping for some good weather this weekend and get out in the open water and avoid the ice winching. Thanks for the pics.

Up here in North Dakota were I live we won't be able to ride for another month. We just got hit with another snow storm. It rained all day yesterday and turned into snow late last night which were expecting between 6-12 inches of snow, and on top of this half the state is being evacuated cause of the rising water in the rivers and creeks. I have never seen my home river (Missouri River in Bismarck ND) as high as it is now. It's all cause of a ice jam that possibly hundreds+ homes will be destroyed! AAAAAAHHHH man as I'm writing now the civil emergency just broadcast that I'm in the path for potential flooding! Dam! I need a dam!

MattG,

Why live here, I'll show you why!

Because part of the year you can play in this:

snow

and part of the year you can play in this:

butter

and between those 2 times of the year you can do either or both, depending on how much you love it!

Though I will give you some credit for riding the Natural

We hit the water at Clinton Lake in Illinois and the water temp was 60. We had a few rain drops on Sunday but nothing to bad, air temp was around 55 - 60. I am so excited to be back on the water.

jjakober, good enough!

Not much of a snow fan but I could see how that it's nice to have the option to play in both. I am sissy Texas boy who hates the cold!
