At the smaller side you could look at the JL Audio XD700/5 and at the higher side a JL Audio XD1000/5. Personally, in an open boat I like to see the subwoofer powered on the higher side.

Always meets or exceeds its 14.4 volt rating even at a lower 12.6 volt supply.

I am looking to take my current arc 600.2 that is running my two JL 10w3s sealed, and putting it to my Rev 8s. I currently have 4 rev 8s running on another 600.2, would like to have the two arcs for the tower...what JL XD is a good pair or similar to the 600.2? Currently subs sound really good and would like to keep the same power if not a tiny bit more... have used JLXDs in the past but am less familiar with them.

Thanks David. What are your thoughts of running the same set up with an old PP 1000.4? Not ideal but not looking to drop another 6-800 if I don't have to.

You can't run three 4-ohm coaxials in parallel but there is a configuration where two channels can drive six speakers with a fairly equitable distribution of power and run at a safe load. So in a 3-channel mode you can drive the sub and six coaxials. Depending on your speaker layout, you may lose an important ability to balance for coaxial positional dis/advantages by not having those extra two channels.
That is an all Class AB amplifier and it is a real current hog.
The original PPI was golden. But after being purchased by DEI they began to package the identical amplifiers in a variety of chassis by different brands. So I'm not sure which amplifier that is. But it will work.

JL Audio has a Class D XD1000/1 that would be perfection for two 10W3s. Hopefully both are 4-ohm subs. If not then there are other ways to go.

The JX is a great value amplifier with lots of power (1000 watts) at a low cost. The 12.5 volt power numbers are especially impressive. Sophistication wise, it's more on par with competitors offerings.
The XD is a completely different animal with higher switching speeds, wider bandwidth, completely different input section, different features, all connections at one end, covered controls, plus all the added technology that distances JL Audio from its competitors.
Each one has a place.
